This remarkable technology shrinks and tightens the facial skin to make you look younger – with little downtime. This technology works on radio-frequency energy, as opposed to lasers’ light energy. How Is It Done?
• Topical anesthetic is applied for 20 minutes prior to the procedure. Some patients may opt to take oral valium at the same time so it has time to “take effect.”
• The face is marked with a temporary grid pattern that is followed during the procedure.
• Some patients may want additional local anesthetic at this point.
• Each square centimeter is sequentially treated following the grid pattern. Each square takes 6 seconds.
• The treatment initially feels cool, then quite hot, and finally cool again.
Recovery:
• Bruising from the injections and swelling of the treated areas are possible.
• You’ll begin to see results within a few days, with continued improvement in the next month as new collagen forms.
• There are no activity restrictions afterwards.
